Sunday brunch is my absolute favorite here! Plenty of anything you could want; eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, fresh salad & fruit, as well as waffles & omelets made to order. Service is always fast & friendly & the atmosphere if cozy too!

Not a whole lot of options for a sit-down dinner in Springfield, KY (or at least that was our experience as out-of-towners). Tried Mordecai's on one night of our trip to town. It's your typical casual restaurant, nothing out of this world. BLT was okay. Pasta was a no-go. Fries were great. Service was awesome. Definitely got that southern hospitality which made the meh food much more bearable.

LOVED this place! Beautiful outdoor patio. We ate indoors and had amazing & friendly service. My husband made a new buddy. Food was amazing. Fish tacos were so generous I could only eat one of the two. Best sweet potato fries I've ever had. We will definitely eat there next time we're in town.

I recently went to Friday night seafood night and was satisfied. Service was great and place was very clean. I am a big fried catfish fan so that's what attracted me to this place and it was good. Prime rib was good too but could have been rarer for my taste. Crab legs which i assume is the big draw were ok but that's been my experience lately everywhere. Crab legs just don't have any meat on them anymore. I think i will be back soon but think lunch buffett would be a better value for me since the crab legs aren't worth it to me and that's not just here but anywhere.

As one who travels to Perryville Historic Battlefield from time to time Mordecai's is my go to place for lunch. You can order from the menu or go for the buffet. I generally like the buffet as it has a good variety of food. It's nothing fancy but just basic food that is filling. I believe they have a seafood buffet on Friday but I haven't checked it out yet. And yes I have ordered off the menu before and was happy with my choices. Service is always friendly and courteous.
